Why did you start tattooing?
I started as a piercer and it seemed a natural progression to learn tattooing.
Whats your favorite style? Why?
Old School traditional American. I think it is strong and beautiful.
Who is your favorite artist?
Joe Leonard
Which artists influenced you? How?
Mike Wilson, Freddie Corbine, Permanent Mark, Sonny Tuffs, and Ms Deborah. I love each of their styles. Also they have been supportive of my learning.
What was your best tattoo-experience?
Getting tattooed in Amsterdam in 96’ at the Hanky Parky convention by Mike Wilson.
What was your strangest tattoo-experience?
Getting tattooed in the front of a skateshop (which I worked at).
Whats your most annoying tattoo-experience?
Getting the Palm of my hand tattooed – it hurt really bad and I wanted to pull my hand away during the whole process.
Which design do you hate most? Why?
The lucky charm band on my upper left arm. It’s poorly done and scarred
